Vegeterian Recipe Shahi Dum Aloo Ingredients
- Small Potatoes … 1 Kg
- Tomato Puree … 1 Cup
- Chopped Almonds … 20
- Fresh Cream … ½ Cup
- Lemons … 4
- Chopped Green Chilies … 4
- Roasted Cumin Powder … 1 Tsp
- Coriander Seeds … 1 Tsp
- Black Pepper Corn … 1 Tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste … 1 Tsp
- Chopped Ginger … 1 Tsp
- Red Chili Flakes … 1 Tsp
- Jaggery … ½ Tbsp
- Oil … 4 Cup
- Salt … To Taste
Vegeterian Recipe Shahi Dum Aloo Cooking Steps
Wash and then boil potatoes for 5 minutes; peel and cut into large cubes.
Per heat cooking oil in a wok and deep fry potatoes into it.
Dish out cooking oil from the wok and pour tomato puree into the wok.
Along with tomato puree; add crushed red chili, roasted and crushed cumin seeds, Jaggery and salt.
Fry all the seasonings for a couple of minutes and then add potatoes into the wok.
Crush coriander seeds and black peppercorns and then mix them well into the potatoes.
Add chopped green chilies and lemon juice squeezed from 4 above mentioned lemons; fry well.
Finally mix into the potatoes; fresh cream and almond flakes; serve hot with chapattis.
