Shahi Chicken Roast Recipe

Shahi Chicken Roast Ingredients:

  • Whole chicken … 1
  • Carrot … 1
  • Capsicum …. 1
  • Chicken cubes ….. 2
  • Onion …. 4
  • Potatoes …. ½  kg
  • Garlic cloves …. 10 – 12
  • Thyme …. 1 tsp
  • Salt …. to taste
  • Chili powder …. 1 tbsp
  • Oil …. 4 tbsp
  • Yellow color …. a pinch
  • Black pepper powder …. ½ tsp
  • Almond ground …. 25 gm
  • Pistachio ground …. 25 gm
  • Lemon juice …. 3 tbsp
  • Tamarind pulp …. ¼ cup
  • Aluminum foil …. as required

Shahi Chicken Roast Preparation Method:

Step 1: Heat oil in a pan and put into it two cubes of chicken stock, 1 tbsp red chili powder, ½ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp yellow color, salt to taste, 3 tbsp lemon juice, 1tsp thyme and ½ cup tamarind pulp and mix well.

Step 2: Switch the flame off and add this mixture into chicken and let it marinate.

Step 3: Chop the listed vegetables along with garlic cloves.

Step 4: Stuff these chopped vegetables into whole chicken.

Step 5: Spread chopped pistachio and almonds on the top.

Step 6: Wrap chicken into aluminum foil and bake into 200 degree preheat oven for about half an hour.

Step 7: Take the chicken out, cut into four pieces and serve with boiled rice or paratha.
