- Mutton … 1 kg
- Rice … 1 kg
- Onions … 3
- Tomatoes … 3
- Ginger Paste … 1 tsp
- Garlic Paste … 1 tsp
- Mixed All Spices … 1 tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder … 2 tbsp
- Peppercoerns … 1 tbsp
- Cinamon … 1 tbsp
- Salt … To Taste
- Cloves … Few
- Black Cardamom … 4-5
- Black Pepper … Few
- Cooking Oil … As Per Requirment
Mutton Pulao Pakistani Recipe Cooking Steps
Step 1: Its good to deal with raw ingredients first then directly starting with cooking. Keeping that thing in mind, we chop down onions and tomatoes into small pieces.
Step 2: Then take a deep pan that fits for cooking one kg rice plus One kg Mutton, after that heat oil or ghee in it.
Step 3: Add onions in heated cooking oil and fry them until they get brown color.
Step 4: Then put in tomatoes plus garlic, ginger paste. Cook these ingredients for few seconds and then add all other spices including salt, red chilli powder, black pepper etc.
Step 5: Once you get this mixture fried, put in washed mutton and cook for 5 minutes then add 2 cups of water. Cook it until meat gets tendered.
Step 6: After that add water doubled the amount of rice ( for that you have to measure the rice ). Bring a boil to that water, add rice ( washed ) and place a cover on it.
Step 7: Wait until water gets dried to 1/3 then cover it with a piece of cloth and then with plate by slowing down the stove.
Remove cover after 15 minutes and your Mutton Pulao is ready to serve. To make it more attractive, serve it with chatni.
