Chicken ginger is a delicious and tasty combination of spices. It is prepared using strips of boneless chicken cooked in thick gravy. This dish can easily serve 6 persons and can be prepared in 20 minutes only. It is usually enjoyed with fresh naan or taftaan.
Chicken Ginger Recipe Ingredients
- Boneless Chicken, Cut into Strips … ½ kg
- Red Chilli Powder … 1 tsp
- Salt … 1 tsp
- Yogurt … 2 tbsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste … 2 tsp
- Tomatoes, Chopped … 2
- Green Chilies, Cut into Strips … 3
- Ginger, Sliced … 2 tbsp
- Milk … ¼ Cup
- Mint Leaves, Chopped … 2 tbsp
Chicken Ginger Recipe Cooking Steps
Step 1: Heat oil in a pan and add the sliced ginger.
Step 2: Toss in the boneless chicken and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3: Next add the ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, tomatoes and yogurt. Mix all the spices well and coat the chicken in it.
Step 4: Fry well till the oil forms a separate layer on top.
Step 5: Finally add the milk cook until gravy thickens.
Step 6: Garnish with chopped mint, green chillies.
Serve hot with naan.
