Butter Chicken Recipe Ingredients

  • Chicken ( Boneless And Cubed ) … 1 kg
  • Ginger Paste … 1 tsp
  • Garic Paste … 1 tsp
  • Salt … 1 tsp
  • Almonds ( Ground ) … 50 gms
  • Yoghurt … 1 Cup
  • Red Chilli Powder … 2 tsp
  • Cloves ( Ground ) … 1/4 tsp
  • Cinnamon ( Ground ) … 1/4 tsp
  • Garam Masala … 1 tsp
  • Cardamom Pods … 4
  • Tomatoes ( Pureed ) … 400 gms
  • Butter … 2 tbsp
  • Oil … 1 tbsp
  • Onions ( Thinly Sliced ) … 2
  • Fresh Coriander ( Chopped ) … For Garnish
  • Cream … 4 tbsp

Butter Chicken Recipe Cooking Steps

  1.  Mix the yogurt, ground almonds, all the dry spices, ginger, garlic, tomatoes and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2.  Marinate the chicken in the spice paste and set aside.
  3.  Melt together the butter and oil in a wok.
  4.  Next add the chicken mixture and stir-fry for another 7 to 10 minutes.
  5.  Pour over the cream and stir in well. Bring to a boil.
  6.  Sprinkle the butter chicken with the chopped coriander and simmer for 2 minutes.
  7.  Serve the butter chicken with naan or chappati.
