Black Forest Ice Cream Roll Ingredients

  • Flour … 75gms
  • Eggs … 4
  • Coco Powder … 25gms
  • Sugar … 100gms
  • Vanilla Essence … 1 Tsp
  • Ice cream … 1 Liter
  • Whipped Cream … 9 Oz
  • Caster Sugar … 10 Oz
  • Chocolate Syrup … ½ Cup
  • Cherries … As Required

Black Forest Ice Cream Roll Cooking Steps

Step 1:

Beat eggs and sugar until double in volume.

Step 2:

Add sieved flour, vanilla essence and coco powder and blend till smooth.

Step 3:

Shift the batter to “13 X 9 greased oven tray and bake on 200º C in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.

Step 4:

Sprinkle some icing sugar or corn flour on a napkin and roll the hot cake into it.

Step 5:

Keep the roll aside until cool; open the napkin and spread ice cream all over the roll and again roll.

Step 6:

Freeze the ice cream roll for at least 12 hours and then remove napkin.

Step 7:

Decorate the ice cream roll with whipped cream chocolate syrup and fresh cherries; enjoy black forest ice cream roll.
